I agree with your Leninist approach that things must turn to shit before a real change occurs... but I'm still concerned about the Supreme Court. The law of the land being the Constitution, and the highest court which interprets the laws is the S.C, which as it stands, is run by old conservative men (mostly), will become evermore conservative if a Repub takes the presidency and appoints more conserveative judges to the court... and they're there for life. As I said earlier, I'm no fan of Obama's, or any politician, but my only hope is if does win his second term, he may appoint a few young liberal judges to the Supreme Court... that will make some difference (maybe not as much as we'd like) but imagine nine Scalia, Alito, Thomas types in FOR LIFE.
