It's obvious that the weapons manufacturers and oil companies are the chief instigators demanding control of the Middle East. When Bush and co talk about US interests they are of course refering to US corporate interests. And it is in their interest to scare the US taxpayer by inciting wars and rumours of wars in order to secure these lucrative deals and raid the US treasury. What we are witnessing now is preparation of the next phase of this colonial war between the USand the ME. With Iraq aa quagmire the US corporations realise that they'll be forced to eventually withdraw leaving neighbouring countries such as Israel, Egypt, Turkey and Saudi Arabia as the "attack dogs" in the region to counter Iranian-Syrian influence and to continue to maintain US hegemony over the world's strategic oil reserves. --------------------- |
