At first I thought you were just kidding when you told me he was one of those "born again" cultists but it is becoming more obvious. A new cult is created almost every month especially from amng the Protestant denominations and you can say one thing about Christendom, and someone will come and find an objection to it. The best thing to do is to dragg a few of them into one room and let them debate this subject on their own. This happened to me and I was lucky enough that the Christians that were ready to gang up on me were not from the same cult and they ended up turning on one another. One was a Jehovah Witness and the other 2 were of some other churches. I think one can imagine what happens when you put a Jehova Witness in a room with someone else. They ended up arguing with one another while the JW rejects thr trinity, the other ones believe it be "truth". I just dismissed myself and let them knock each other's tooth out. So I suppose Minime is one of them too and he can give another interpretation to everything even the most obvious will become more difficult. There is never anything concrete or simple with them Born Again cultists. Black is white, and the clear is not what it is. Everything is difficult with them from something as simple as where is Alaska to anything else. You say something that is true about the general world of Christendom, and one of them will come out from the dark and say it is not so. The latest is the denial of the Eucharist and that Christians suddenly got it wrong. No wonder the Bible scholar Dr Joseph Parker said "What a book is the Bible in the matter of variety of contents. Whole pages are taken up with obscure names, and more is told of a geneology than of the day of judgement. Stories are half told and the night falls before we can tell where victory lay. Where is there anything to correspond with this?". And that is pretty much the best thing to say. Never have I seen another book on the face of the planet that can be interpreted in so many different ways and new cults and denominations are founded all the time because of the problems it has. One can seriously go in there and find something to make a prophecy about one's own self if one felt like it. --------------------- |
