....if Iraqi Muslims, and other Muslims, were so determined to wipe them out, why didn;t the Iraqi army go on to the next village and the next and the next, wiping out all the Christians? Why did they stop at the victims they killed in Semele...and why didn't they kill every last one of the people in Semele?

...rather they were sending a message to the assyrian refugees Iraq had welcomed..."keep this up and there will be more reprisals".

...as sad as it is, the Iraqi government found no other way to tame the ungrateful assyrians they'd taken in as refugees, who expected the Iraqis to give them land because of what some British officer told one of them...and to get them to settle down and live as loyal and grateful Iraqis...except to make an example of 300 of them...it is the kind of collective punishment, even punishment of innocents, that Christians are famous for...like attacking Iraq and killing hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi children for nothing...since no Iraqi had anything to do with 9/11, and yet all of Iraq was made to suffer, "collectively", for it, an unjust act for which not ONE assyrian raised any protest but rather cheered and saw as a "golden opportunity" because NOW surely the foreign Christian murderers would give them "what we deserve"...and they were right, they got EXACTLY what they deserved as traitors to their own country and ass-wipes for the Westerners...it just wasn't what they expected, but when have they ever gotten anything THEY thought they deserved?
