I totally agree with what you're saying, but these young guys have done a lot of good work. You can read some of their articles for DemocracyNow, and, yes, they should've thought twice about going there. According to the girl, Sarah, the locals told them there's a hiking trail to a beautiful waterfall near the Iranian border - nobody warned them not to go and they were not the only foreigners there. The sad thing is that based on their politics, our government is not going to do shit to help get them released, the way Clinton did for the Ling girl who went into N.Korea. The only other assholes that are exploiting the release of the "hikers" and the "stoning of Sakineh" is the terrorist group MEK who want the US to take them off the Terror list. --------------------- |
