...two Pennsylvania judges have been removed from the bench for taking kick-backs to send juveniles to private prisons...for-profit lock-up. Over 2 million was paid out in kick-backs...the kids didn't even have lawyers present, as the Law says they must and most were sent to prison on very minor or first-time offfenses. One judge says he's mortified and ashamed and blames only himself, though he denies taking money...the other judge won't say a thing...but they had to have done something terrible to be removed from the bench so quickly..and two at the same time. What's wrong with private enterprise? Plenty when it takes over social programs. The same will happed with Blackwater when it needs "business". Private munitions manufacturers, like Krupp, were found to send agents in the field to start wars between factions the compnay would then supply...both sides. But in this day and age when business types no longer work behind the scenes...such business ventures will crop up more and more. Blackwater will be a money-making and war-making enterprise. Even more than Nazi Germany, the United States now defines what it means to be a Fascist state. --------------------- |
