...I accidentally saw the video while waiting in line...or I only saw enough to turn away. Christians will say this is typical of Islam..that this is what Muhammad taught...if that´s true then Hitler was a disciple of Jesus who learned from him how to murder Jews in gas ovens.

..These are sick people who use religion to indulge their insanity...Christians and Muslims both.

...stoning women to death is no more a part of Islam than Auschwitz was a central part of Christianity, or torture a commandment of Jesus....the odd thing though is that you never heard of these things in Islam when Christians were rounding up Jews for extermination....

Muhammad forbade Arabs to expose girl babies so they would die...and I have no doubt that stoning existed at that time too, as it did among the Jews, and that Muhammad spoke against that as well.

People of good will on all sides recognize that stoning and water-boarding are not the kinds of things either Islam or Christianity promotes...

However, there is one significant difference between the two religions which may account for the increased and increasing level of violence in Islam that we hadn´t yet seen till the last fifty years when Christian attacks increased substantially and that is that Christianity begins with murder and human sacrifice whereas Islam began with the cry that Allah is great. Which is not a call to violence or human sacrifice....which, given Christianity´s history, is indeed pretty great.

"God is Great"...what you do about it is your own business.

"God must be sacrificed", as a human bean, on a cross, leaves nothing to the imagination, or the will...it´s a done deal and it was done for YOU...whether you would want to be the kind of person to accept someone else, someone totally innocent, being put to death to cover your ass...if you accept such a bargain, such a "gift", it seems to me you´re already half-way to hell, on a pre-determined path...with the other half sort of mapped out for you, in advance.

A decent human bean can accept "God is Great"...all you have to do is look around you. But a decent person could never accept a human victim in his own place....that marks you out as a moral degenerate and coward already.

This is the most significant difference between Islam and Christianity and it may go a long way in explaining why Christians are and have been so damn bloody.
