Maggie`s over at beth giving them hell...when confronted by people stupider than she is, she tells them all about what research means...and what THOROUGH research consists of and what you must do to be "educated"...when she`s confronted by anyone marginally brighter she quickly says she`s no scholar but an amateur etc...and then proceeds to chew on the furniture.

To point to only one, of many, glaring errors Maggie dropped before breaking camp for deeper waters...she said that the term "Assyrian" was in use much before Chaldean...turns out that wasn`t true..it was one of those things "I know"...so there`s no need to do any research, thorough or not. Turns out that the term Chaldean was the first to be applied to the Nestorians...during the 16th century when Rome wooed back some Nestorians to orthodoxy and chose that name for them....the Nestorians who remained with the mother church even adopted the name, briefly, themselves, so there were Chaldean Catholics and Nestorian Chaldeans...just to show that they could be as "ancient" as the Catholics...at that time there is not a single mention of the word Assyrian being used by any Nestorian to apply to himself or his sect.

These are simple thing to research and refute. The idea that anyone who does his homework and thereofre winds up contradicting Maggie or Aprim is therefore an "enemy" out to "destory" Assyrians is just part of the hysteria these people were born and bred in.

Maggie decamped because she came to the end of her list of cuss words...hurled as many insults as she could and was dismayed to find we were still waiting for her to refute anything with any research to it...calling George Roux a "LIAR"...in caps...just seals her character.

As usual..if not for Maggie and Aprim and Jassim and their ilk....my job would be that much harder.

Assyrians my arse.
