From volume one, "Our Oriental Heritage" of the eleven volume set titled "The Story of Civilization" by Dr Will Durant I found the following description of the great Moghul emperor Akbar, a Muslim.

"When he learned of the new religion, Christianity, which had come into India with the Portugeuse occupation of Goa, he dispatched a message to the Paulist missionaries there, inviting them to send two of their learned men to him. Later some Jesuits came to Delhi and so interested him in Christ that he ordered his scribes to translate the New Testament. He gave the Jesuits full freedom to make converts, and allowed them to bring up one of his sons. While Catholics were murdering Protestants in France and Protestants, under Elizabeth, were murdering Catholics in England and the Inquisition was killing and robbing Jews in Spain, and Bruno was being burned at the stake in Italy, Akbar invited the representatives of all the religions in his empire to a conference, pledged them to peace, issued edicts of toleration for every cult and creed, and, as evidence of his own neutrality, married wives from Brahman, Buddhist and Mohameddan faiths."

Although the above statement runs counter to what Jumblat and Minime would have us believe about Islam..and though it casts Christianity in what can only be described as a "bad" light...yet the truth is that it doesn't slander or insult Christianity at all...it merely states the objective and historical truth about both Christianity and this Muslim emperor. But that's not the way Minime or Jumblat takes it...for anything that reveals the truth about the actions of their religion is to be put down as "stupidstupidstupid"...which explains why they never read real books. And, by contrast, whatever tells the truth about a Muslim, is just "propaganda".

Dr Durant is a world famous philosopher of history who's won a Pulitzer Prize and whose series of books have been translated in every language. He is unabashedly in love with the historical Jesus...he is certainly not a Muslim...neither is he "bashing" Christianity or "defending" Islam...in other pages he is free with criticism of Muslims and Islam...but his respect for its achievements are honest and sincere.

But honesty is hatefull to Minime and Jumblat and all the others they represent...and history is their enemy...because the study of history rips the bottom out from under their beliefs and spills their shit all over for all to see.

...in response to this quote we're going to get errections, virgins, monkeys and flies...and, oh yes, "stupidstupidstupid".
