It is clear in the early last century the Arabism was only confined in the region of western Asia , i.e., The Arabian Peninsula and the Fertile Crescent countries .
A few decades later ARABISM marched not to include the whole region of north Africa , but went down from the east up to Somal and the west up to Mauritania.

In a commentary by Prof. Yusif Saygh( 1981 ) in Economics stated the following:

" There are very ambitious development plans. I made a survey of the plans of 20 ( now they are 22 and still going forward)Arab countries, leaving out DJIBOUTI . I could not find data on DJIBOUTI which just become Arab recently ( LAUGH ) !.... "
