...Los Angeles police are proposing to "map" the whereabouts of Muslims in L.A...meaning they want to know where they live, and probably where they go to school and work too...maybe even whose house they party at. No doubt Muslims will have to register each time they move, or change jobs...or another child is born. Civil rights activists, you know; those "damn liberals" who want to destory America, are protesting it. And maybe it's just a trial balloon, for now, to see if, or how loudly, people protest. This is exactly how the Nazis started their move against the Jews....they made them "register"...so they knew where they lived when the day came. Islam is indeed the fastest growing religion in the West...there's very little Christians can do directly to stop this trend...but they can make it unpleasant to be a Muslim...so maybe people will think harder about whether they want the discrimination and harrassment that will come with it...Christians always think that if you just punish people, they'll give in. Germany changed its laws little by little...you have to do it that way. Our Patriot Act is their "Nuremberg Laws" ...the beginning of "protecting" the German people from "undesirable" elements...and the nice people who were glad to see it...who never thought THEY might be viewed as undesirable one day...woke up on that day when maybe a professor's lecture about Plato "seemed" to be disrespectful of authority...and the nice professor finds the laws are no longer there which would have protected his civil right to fair trials etc. History repeats...so do the people in it. It wasn't only the Jews and gypsies and homosexuals and intellectuals who suffered in Gernamy...they may have paid the price first...but take a look at the German people in the years after the war...look at what happened to their cities, to the starvation and ruin...the division of the country because it had become a Mad Dog no one wanted to see whole again...it repeats. --------------------- |
