...it's odd how it never gives people pause that the Roman Empire became Christian. Why would it? Because Romans loved Jesus and his message of peace and love? The very people who killed him transformed him into an apologist for their empire and a smoke screen. Whereas before the Romans came just to plunder and add to their empire and wealth, now they were coming with the "good news"...and THEN plunder and rape and to add you and yours to their empire. Which did what....make the plundered and raped feel better?...or make their rapists feel better. ...do you mind less if a Christian rapes you? Is the rapist's religious beliefs what annoys you or the rape? Who gave a shit that the Romans had found Jesus when the end result was the same when Jupiter was their god? ...and, conveniently, the Romans wrote the Bible, or rewrote it, to lay the blame on the Jews. Jews had supposedly rejoiced when the Romans gave up a thief and crucified Jesus instead...they even quote the Romans as saying "may his death be on us and our children forever", or words to that effect. In other words the Jews WELCOMED whatever treatment Christians would dole out to them over the next 1000 years, they literally ASKED for it. ...which brings us to Trump and his claim that he saw thousands and thousands of Muslims in Jersey City cheering and dancing in the streets when the twin towers collapsed...even though no news agency has been able to find the footage....why is he insisting anyway? because it's important to get the idea out that Muslims, like the Jews at the time Jesus was crucified, are ASKING for whatever we're going to do to them....they are dancing and cheering as Christians get killed. Christians justify what they do to their victims by demonizing their soon-to-be victims, making it their own fault, they "asked for it". That's why Islam is being slandered and defamed so gleefully, purposefully mis-quoted and taken out of context. We need to render the Christian conscience immune from the nightmares it might suffer when Christians replay the hell they visit on innocent people...so the people have to be demonized, made to seem like they asked for it, and therefor, all we did, was give them what they asked for. Had they not forced our hand, we would have left them alone. But that isn't true of course. The Iraqis did nothing to "ask for" our brutal and illegal invasion and occupation.....if anyone asked for it it was the Saudis, but they are our ally, like Saddam once was. "...we have met the enemy and it is us"....Pogo --------------------- |
