I found your appeal for re-establishing our nation as one of the best that i have ever read in all Assyrian formus and elsewhere. I commend you for that dear friend.

I agree, our nation need a "Spokesman/Lobbyist" to work on behalf of it's people. It is an overdue task. however, we have few options to pursue this "NOBLE OBJECTIVE":

1. Establishing in the diaspora "Committe from Prominent Assyrians from all walks of life- you may want to call it- "Assyrian Nation Committee", or whatever fits well!!.

2. The main task of this "committee" is to table a strong case for establishing of a homeland for our people in our "Occupied Homlenad" and to approach: A) U.N.- including the 5 influential permenant members; B) US Adminstration- through our Congresswoman Anna Eshoo; C) EU- through our respresentative in Europe; and even some Middle Eastern countries who may help- that depends!!??

3. Assyrian in diaspora must support this committee "financially & morally" to pursue this noble cause.

I support your call and I feel very strongly about doing it. As "Nike" trade mark says: JUST DO IT!!!

..first off, Anna Eshoo is not "our" representative. She represents the people in her district...all the people and not just Assyrians. She certainly doesn't represent Assyrians outside her district, or anybody else outside her district. When will you people realize what democracy means? The only place you had "your representative" was in the old Turkey and in Iran...and neither was a democracy.

..also, there are no "prominent Assyrians" foolish enough to sign onto your ditzy committe to steal land. If you want to steal land do it the time-honored way...like America, Britain and old Assyria did; TAKE it by force and hold onto it if you can. No one gives anything to a committee.

..the last time you got this warm and fuzzy over the prospect of an Assyria...you woke up after your bender to find Kurdistan in its place.

...try to remain calm.
