Poor people know: the rich and powerful break laws all the time...only the poor MUST obey laws at all times and no matter what. This isn't a police matter, it isn't "crime"...it's a reaction to the crimes of the rich....ask the peasants of France in 1878. What the rich of that day called criminals were soon forming a new government and nation.

There's no reason to think that people will put up with anything for ever....there's every evidence to show that they will NOT. It may start out as looting and simple property crimes, but there's much more beneath the surface...if the rich and powerful can't control their greed, why must the poor?

Who is more justified in stealing, the poor or the rich? If you say "neither", then you don't know psychology or history....the crackdown in Britain is exactly the wrong step.. it's just the military side of an economic crackdown that's been going on for decades while the rich have been stealing their new found wealth from the increasingly poorer and poorer.

The point can be reached when there aren't enough police...or when life becomes unbearable for the rich and protected as well....it's the old lesson still unlearned that it matters very much to the rich as well what goes on among the poor....

The world can't sustain the old ways of doing business....Big Bank capitalism was okay in them old frontier days, but no more. There will be no climbing out this crisis through "job growth" because there are no jobs and no reason for jobs...no way enough jobs can be created making even more "things" no one really needs or can afford....there has to be a new way of making a living than creating junk...
