Unity and Faith Will Hold Us Together By:The People Date: Wednesday, 13 December 2006, at 5:50 pm Website: Mess-O-Potatoes "As we are approaching Christmas and the New Year - we should give ourself sometime to review the impact of UNITY and FAITH. We should't underestimate the horror of devastation when there is a conflict of interest involved, since we all strongly believe that, for a Nation to be strong and prospective, these two fundamental pillars of interest must be mutually respected. Unfortunately, today, what we are wishing for is missing." ***It is missing because you cannot demand something of others without being ready and willing to give those things YOURSELF. "We are a scattered nation, small in size and resources. But, we have this great pride and capacity to cry loud and make our voice heard around the world." ***since when "crying" helps anyone? " Despite our current internal differences, regardless of damage we have sustained, there are still potential opportunities available before us to work towards reconciling this mishap. The answer is clear; we must open our hearts to entertain new slogans of Love, Peace and National Awareness." ***That will be the day when you people "entertain" new slogans of love and peace! You'd have to first wash out your mouths with soap! "We must warmly appreciate and recognize all the blessed faiths - with due respect to their ethnical believes." ***That's good! You learned something from the insideassyria.com, afterall! "What is most important to us, as a viable Nation, we should never distract from our responsible maturity to address the challenges that are facing our people today." Two things: 1) We are NOT a nation if we are ALL Christian! and 2) When you start maturing and acting responsibly when someone challenges you, then you can expect it of others. But so long as you keep banning Assyrians that challenge you, you CANNOT demand others to act responsibly and maturely! " Unity must be the goal, any thing more than saying "AMEN" is Insane, sick and destructive." ***There you go again, using words like SICK to describe your critics! "The strength of a Nation comes from its sincere and dedicated people" **No kidding!!! "through cohesive statemanship." ***How will you achieve this coehsiveness if your leader's "statesmanship" is not up to par, or in any condition to be your role-models? "Weakining the position of our Movement ( thru any shape or size ) is unforgivable and treason." ***OUR movement? You see, that's the problem, you are talking about YOUR movement and no one else's. "Because, if our embedded struggle in Iraq is weakened, all our future aspirations will be doomed." ***Too late to be thinking about this now. You should have done it when we were telling you to! YOU create chaos and then expect the crowd to hear you! "As we are coming close to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus, we would anticipate, as christianity dictates, that it is the time to preach love,Forgiveness and National Awareness, by all Clergy, and in every Church facility." ***Too little too late for that, too! You should have thought about that BEFORE you created yourselves a new messiah, and cussed and cursed Mar Dinkha!!! WHY do you people ONLY think about "acting" Christian around Christmas? Hypocrites! By the way, once you start preaching love and forgiveness, will your new messiah return the stolen church properties to their rightful owners? Or is this ANOTHER one of your scams? --------------------- |
