...for one thing it's the only completely free and open forum. While the others who use and abuse the Assyrian name are all closed to those who disagree with their agendas, even where facts are concerned...this forum welcomes all points of view, whether or not our Beastmaster approves or not.

...this forum allows swear words, "insults", distractions, whatever the writers on it wish to use...but we encourage people to engage on the issues raised and not personalities. If someone posts something we feel is a lie or inaccurate, we post our objections and back them with argument and facts...to merely insist that our opinion is the only correct one would be foolish and counter-productive. So we won't remove what we consider wrong or insulting points of view, even personal attacks...even if they include our children or parents.

...Jumblat's post about young brides in Islam is a perfect example. That post would be welcome on any other forum...the views expresed would be shared by everyone there and any attempt to refute it would be seen as an "attack", the result of "hatred" or "propaganda"...no one on those forums would see the post as a PERFECT example of propaganda etc. Only the OTHER side engages in these things, according to Jumblat and his ilk.

..we happen not to agree with what he says in the post...but we leave it where he put it. The only thing we do is post opposing points of view...so readers can decide for themselves...and when you allow people to decide and judge for themselves, you're not dealing in propaganda.

...and today, as luck would have it, there appears news that a Christian adult male who believes in polygamy recently married and fucked, with an errection, a twelve year-old girl. This didn't happen 1,400 years ago either...it happened NOW...and it isn't a rumor or "slander" or merely an attempt to say "you TOO"!!!

...On the other forums Jumblat's unsubstantiated post would be allowed to remain, but this post, especially if I could post the photos being splashed across treevee screens around the world, would be deleted...why? Because it's "not true"? No...It would be deleted and banned because it IS the TRUTH!!!

...that's the finest purpose this forum serves...it allows both lies and truth to exist side by side...leaving it to the people to decide for THEMSELVES.

...the other purpose is to show how our self-banning system is far more effective than all this banning and deleting...as you can see now that Jumblat is forced to create another lie to excuse the fact that he realized he doesn't belong here and is going away....except, in his case, he is SUCH a liar that he doesn't mean this either....
