..when you get up there in the hallowed halls of academe, among the ivy, you either learn along the way or take courses in how to write, not as a pastime or for the edification or mystification of friends and enemies, but as a DISCIPLINE...so you don´t commit the kinds of horrendous errors Fred Aprim and I commit...while we can wander all over the road trusting to luck and innate skills to avoid ruin...scholars maneuver with more conscious deliberation...so may we please grow up and not compare apples with turnips?
