...what's everybody so angry at them for? If you look at any map of the region in the last 200 years you'll see Qurdistan right there. You won't have to imagine it or dream it or conjure it up, it's right there in bold letters; QURDISTAN.

...as far as the north of Iraq goes, it appears that the Qurds are there to stay as a separate entity. Why so angry? is it merely the jealously we're so famous for? What do people mean when they say the Qurds "stole" the land? Did Native Americans GIVE their land to the Europeans? Did the Incas and Mayas and Aztecs hand their lands over to the Spanish?

Which modern country isn't built on stolen lands?

If we're envious, let's say so....but enough with "they STOLE the land"!
