...of people, or organizations or programs, whose foundation is grounded in lies. This is certainly true of the entire "we are Assyrians because we are Christians"...plus "we were persecuted and forcibly converted and murdered just for our religion by Islam" propaganda we spew. While there may be plenty of missionaries, priests, taxi drivers and politicians who spout this nonsense, there are no qualified historians, not even Christian ones, who back up these claims. Not to mention that for three years we've begged Ashur Bet-Liar to give us some actual factual examples....not only has failed to do so but he's pulled that most time-honored "Assyrian" maneuver; he's run away and declared "victory" as he ran. The fact is that when the Arabs came they were welcomed by our Christians because they were far more tolerant, or uninterested, than the Romans, who'd been the actual ones murdering, persecuting and forcibly converting us. That was the reason, the main reason, our numbers dwindled...not because of what Muslims did but because of what Christians did. And when in history did a Christian ever refuse to persecute, kill, maim and torture another Christian? Why do we hang OUR crimes on Islam? --------------------- |
