That remind me of the question Christians used to ask me when I was into my religion. They would ask me "do you accept the bible as the word of god, quicly yes or no?" and I didn't like this question because it only gives two options. If I would have said yes, it means I must accept the parts where it claims Jesus is god etc. If I would say, no, I be dismissed and told "stop quoting our book". So I don't like when the question is narrowed down like that. There are instances where one can do that but not always. In this case, it's no different. It's like asking to pick between the lesser of two evils. They are both still religions like the rest, they require faith and do not solve much of the problem. I don't see any need for a religion or an organized religion but I realize that most people won't just give it up because they either fear "god" or that's all they have. I can respect that but don't push it on others. People tell me they'll pray for me and hope I receive forgiveness but I tell them not to worry about me. Even if there is a heaven, god, hell, etc, I don't care nor fear such. If there truly were a creator as religions claim, there is no way this whatever u wanna call it is fair, just and loving. Honestly I rather go to hell because I think only ass holes go to heaven. They can have the cars, vacuums, ice cream, wine and women. I take this short life and whatever happens after is alright with me. --------------------- |
