In all the debates against Christianity I've never heard it mentioned that Christianity is a cult of murder. I don't mean it advocates murder, although it has inflicted murder on countless peoples...I mean the religion is born in murder...in the murder of Jesus, without which there could be no Christian religion.

Christianity doesn't just "teach morality" or inculcate feelings of self-sacrifice and the rest of it....almost every religion ever known has done that...it goes one step further; it makes a single murder, of an admittedly guiltless man, the very starting point of the Faith.

During his life Jesus preached pretty tame stuff...love people, do good things, the end is coming etc. He even told people to pay their taxes to Rome and be good slaves. If one suspended time the day before he was arrested, there was nothing to build a religion upon, nothing unique or new or controversial...had the Romans not been watching, the Jewish hierarchy would have left Jesus alone....nothing really "there".

And had he died of natural causes instead of "for you" there was nothing to build a world-wide religion upon. Without the murder, priests could only have said "be kind"...."obey your parents"...."don't steal" and the rest of it...big deal, and nothing new. Nothing to "SHAKE THE WORLD" with.

We all know by now that no matter how good or pure a life you live, you could not get to heaven unless Jesus was murdered, and you agreed to benefit by it. THAT is the core of Christianity....without the murder there is no religion, just a bunch of tame homilies shared by almost everyone on earth.

Be as good as you want, if Jesus isn't killed there is no "promise" to believe in...there is no eternal reward for accepting the murder of Jesus, if he is NOT murdered. No true Christian, had he or she been present, would EVER have saved the life of their dear Jesus...had they done the humane and decent thing and prevented it, there would have been no "proof" that resurrection was an option for you....because there had been no murder.

To believe in the resurrection of Jesus, you first have to have him killed...he has to be made dead, before he can rise...THAT is the core of the religion and the only thing which makes it unique among religions; there HAS to be a murder, without it the religion can't be "born"....the whole thing exists, comes into being, is born THROUGH MURDER.
