..The operative word is "WE". WE...we humans "want to make a new faith".

...that's the truest thing said yet about all religions..every last one of them. WE make gods and religions...none of the many gods we humans have made comes anywhere near to what MIGHT exist...how could it? How could humans who know so very little and most of it eventually seen to be nonsense, ever "know" god?

...in fact, religion impedes the development of true spirituality by imposing systems onto children...long before they have the chance to develop a personal sense of spirit, which kills the human spirit and substitutes a product in its place.
