...in a democracy leaders don't lead...they follow. Obama isn't a dictator, he can do very little without the backing of the majority of the populace...he knew damn well that if he wanted to be president he would have to kill enemies...even manufacture enemies...that's the mood of the American public after the neo-cons got done with them. If he was averse to such murders he wouldn't have run, or been elected.

...we can fault him for electing to join the crowd, but not for imposing his own morality. I have no doubt he's a more decent man than Bush ever was...but the office of president or any office in America requires indecency...or you won't get elected....and the higher up the more true that is.

..I wish Obama could be a better president...but he can't, even if he wants to. His greatest contribution to America is his skin color and what that has meant and still means in America...his election showed that many in this country were ready to look past skin color, though some went too far and wanted him BECAUSE of his skin color...but the rest came out of the woodwork and from under the rocks where they'd been hiding...Obama forced Racism to come out from hiding...and that's good as well as necessary...for that he deserves gratitude, but for nothing else.
