...we're living on the edge of huge changes...climate change for one will force us to rethink what we mean by "a good life".

..also the mantra about "how are we going to pay for that", will become meaningless....when you have the resources and the human power to fix potholes in your world, you get to point of urgency where it finally becomes evident that our notion of money is way way outdated.

..if we, the people, keep borrowing from private banks to run our government we will always fall short, always have to cut essential needs to pay back the bankers...which is fin with them. Which is why they push wars, because it;s a money-maker like nothing else. We'll give up on toilet paper in schools, breakfats for our kinds anything and everything but we won;t compromise on our "safety"...so, if enough enemies can be manufactured to scare us with, we'll happily pay over more and more of our cash for bombs and planes.

...but, we are afraid of climate disruption...afraid that we might make the earth uninhabitable..and that's going to force us to confront a lot of things...like just what we mean by "life"...what are real values...etc.

...whenever an emergency happens people don;t care about money...there is an immediate crisis and they take care of it...we are bringing the planet to such a state of dire emergency...are we really going to sit back and let it collapse because we have no money to fix it?

..we shall see.
