...I am an assyrian mechanic, or engineer or teacher or lawyer etc. who either always really wanted to be a surgeon or was always fascinated by surgery...in my spare time, when not driving a cab or building bridges, I "study" medical books on surgery, in my living room....I also construct a "surgery" in my basement or garage where I "practice medicine", on dolls and then neighborhood stray dogs...and I have to admit I get pretty good at it.

Then one day Toro comes to me saying he's heard I am a pretty good surgeon and could I take a look at his young daughter who has abdominal pains. I get out my medical books, at leats the ones I could afford and also was able to understand, and I boil a kitchen knife and prepare to operate...fortunately for the girl the police are alerted, by a neighbor who IS a surgeon and grew alarmed at the number of surgically maimed dogs he'd seen around, and they break in just in time...this results in me going to jail for along time, in Toro's wife divorcing him and in him losing all visitation rights, unless supervised by the court...also mandatory counseling for Toro.

BUT, if instead of being fascinated by medicine, I happen to love history and spend my off hours pouring over only the books I LIKE or can afford, or understand, I can fill Toro's daughter's mind with incredible garbage which I happen to LIKE,and so does Toro and so will his DAUGHTER, if no one rescues her.
