...more and more Americans are being reduced to the position of coal miners living in a company town and forced to shop at the company owned store where they get screwed regularly...Americans may think they have the freedom to shop around but increasingly the only places they can afford with their below living-wages is mega stores like WallMart and the rest of them, which will soon decide what we can and can't get access to.

...then there's the pharma companies who also work hand in glove with the government they increasingly own, to give us oen set of pills that induce conditions for which they offer us another pill and so on.

...I've seen commercials on one channel telling me to contact a law firm if I'
ve taken drug "A" while on another channel they're still selling that drug.

But my favorite are those commercials selling a drug to cure your headache, always with people smiling in a field somewhere, with the voice warning you of six, just as bad side-effects....

..."take Shmedrin to relieve that itchy skin but beware getting headaches"....the next commercial says "take Shmedron for headaches, but beware getting itchy skin"...at which point you can buy them both and travel back and forth between headaches and itchy skin.
