...that's what our boys are hoping for....and that may be what the earlier Euros were looking for, even before there was an Israel...maybe the Euros knew that if they could make the Nestorians make the case that they were the "indigenous people of Mesopotamia" (there was no Iraq then and no Assyria either) they could create a client-state right there in the oil fields...a state that would be Christian and beholden to them...it hasn't worked yet...

...but Israel has...maybe the Euros realized they needed a much more forceful argument...so they murdered millions of Jews so they, themselves, could "feel guilty" and then "make things right"...and who would argue because they HAD made the Jews suffer terribly...but THEY did it, yes, the SAME people who did the murdering (Christians) came back barely ten years later to act as the CHAMPIONS of the "poor Jews"...and achieved what they hadn't been able to in Mosul, and other oil-rich lands. Israel has no oil, Israel has no nothing,,,but it CAN be the perfect pretext to fuck up the entire region...and it has worked, beautifully.
