...what if the Qurds offered to pay the expenses? Would the parents be considered traitors and sell-outs? Would they be decried by assyrians, called names etc? Because that's the situation the assyrians of Iraq face if they dare accept help or money from Qurdistan...will this "dear child of ours" all of a sudden have to go the way of those others, in those lying books of martyrs, who had their own parents lay their throats bare for the Muslim's knife rather than renounce Jesus?

...because this is the reality that exists today...Aprim and the rest are constantly hurling threats and insults at any assyrians in Iraq who take money or food or shelter from "dirty Qurds"...yet get nothing from these sons of assyria.

...what if this child was in Qurdistan right now and Qurds were ready to supply the funds...what then? Do we remain "pure" and therefore lose another, unwilling, martyr...or do we become reasonable, and realistic, and grateful too?

..and what if the Qurds demanded that the parents of this child renounce Jesus as a condition of getting the only help from the only quarter offering any...what then?

...my response would be, if the child were mine, "Jesus....who?"
