The same dweeb who "wrote" the article goes on to talk about the genocide that Turks supposedly did in 1915 and he does what they all do in twisting history around. He says the Turks committed a genocide because the local Assyrian and Armenian people didn't want to fight on behalf of Turks against fellow Christians for Turkish expansion which wouldn't benefit the Assyrians. He says this was the reason Turks committed the genocide. First of all it wasn't Turks looking for expansion but western nations wanting to dismantle ottoman empire. Secondly, Turks didn't ask Assyrians or Armenians to fight for them. Turks were very capable of fighting for themselves and did so all along and preferred that. What they demanded from all it's citizens was loyalty and trust which these Christian community couldn't do. They simply asked them to behave and Armenians declared war for independence against the Turks so they naturally would be a target and the Syriac speaking community assisted as well.

It's really cute how they twist it around and make it seem as if they were just peace loving Christians and Turks killed them just for that. The Turks didn't give a fuck what religion these people were and had lived with them in peace for 600 years at least. When you declare war, there will be consequences and these people were ever ready to betray their own countries for any invader, especially western. That's what happened in this case as well but the dweeb doesn't care about it and I love how be puts a name on the bottom but doesn't show were he quoted him or in what way he contributed to the article, but then again, nobody among their readers cares for facts in anyway.
