They're going to say he was washed up anyway so big deal...he was probably going to be cut or retire anyway....but that's the least of it...his family, his children, his wife and father and mother and anyone associated with him is going to bear the brunt of the stupid hate in this country...his team mates are going to feel that he's costing them fans and then revenues....people are going to take signs into the stadiums and wait outside to yell their hate.

Free Speech" Sure, so long as you say what people will allow you to say...otherwise, leave the country. Strange sort of freedom.

And to the point that he is disrespecting the troops...no he isn't....what is there to respect in US storm troopers who have occupied countries and murdered thousands of civilians? The Nazis barely held territory for a couple of years...their newer and more modern version is occupying and killing for many more years.

They said all the same things about Ali...yet he is the only actual hero, the best known anyway, of the entire gang who brought us that war and grew so rich off of it...

It was a brave thing to do...THAT is patriotism....
