...what were we expecting? Here's a black man who spent his life getting along with the white man, not ruffling the feathers of the white man, accepting whatever the white man dished out, in awe of the white man's power, or afraid of it...and now he's up against the same powerful white men he spent his life appeasing...and we thought he was going to fight them?
