Why is KDP against an independent Assyrian police

Mr. Yan,

According to the reports in US media, KDP has been against an establishment of a so called Christian police force and has blocked the efforts:

“It was never supposed to happen this way. Two years ago, the U.S. Army Joint Operation Center and the Iraqi Interior Ministry ordered the creation of a local police force for the Nineveh Plain, but it has twice been blocked by the officials from Barzani’s Kurdish Democratic Party.”

Can you explain why?

...yes, I can. You see anything the occupying armies decide Iraq should do will get nowhere...and any "ministry" created while the occupying forces are there also counts for nothing...in addition this Iraqi constitution you all yap about is in reality an American constitution imposed on Iraq at the point of several guns by Paul Bremmer...neither the constitution nor this parliament will last ten seconds oncse the armies leave...as they go, however, you can thank them for Kurdistan..it serves you right, you people wept for this war because you believed the Christian West would 'save you"...well, I'm glad to see it DAMNED you instead..like you deserve...perhaps Kurdistan will save you, but I doubt it...you people are hell-bent on destroying yourselves while singing the praises of a Jew carpenter.

...the real tragedy for Christians is how many of them had to suffer who, for centuries, have resisted every impluse to leave their beloved BetNahrain and were prospering just fine under Saddam even with all the liabilities which all Iraqis suffered...these poor bastards have been undone, forced to run for their lives or gunned down by the very people you begged for this war....you have done them the greatest damage in the world while you sat spouting farts in the West.
