Let´s get this straight...Americans can now call to mind 9/11 whenever they want to justify aggression towards virtually any Muslim or Muslim "fellow traveller" they want...just as the Jews can bring up the Holocaust whenever they want to attack a Muslim or anyone who stands in solidarity with the Palestinians...but Muslims can NEVER mention the illegal partition of Palestine, or the 35 year occupation and illegal wars against Lebanon etc. or the numerous injustices, almost all of which the world agrees have taken place, they suffer routinely at the hands of America/Israel....is that about it?

The Holocaust and 9/11 are pertfectly legitimate pretexts for anything and everything Isrrel and America wish to do to their "enemies", but the rape of Plaestine and ongoing occupation and persecution of the Palestinians by America/Israel can never be. If you mention 9/11 or the Holocaust you are met with awed reverence but mention Palestine and you can expect rolled eyes and sly grins and a response such as "there THEY go again...blaming others"!

I know most people aren´t that stupid...but they could become that stupid if the media and American education have their way.

Every time you try to discuss Israeli Palestinian relations like an adult you´re told to stop "blaming Israel"...and of course the Holocaust is thrown in your face in an atempt to "shame" you into silence and thereby ignoring and and excusing every crime Israelis want to commit...even as they insist you weep for the crimes THEY suffered.

If you want to discuss why Muslim anger has reached such a boiling point you´re cut off before you can say it MIGHT have to do with all the crimes Palestinians have suffered at the hands of Israel/America.

WE may mention what we have suffered...you must NEVER bring up your suffering. WE are being "analytical" and "framing the discussion" and "placing it in its proper context" wqhile you are merely making excuses or trying to blame someone else for the jealously you feel and the hatred and the...well, you know.

And, something else I learned...Ahmadinejad NEVER said he wanted to wipe Israel off the face of the earth...he said he wanted to wipe ZIONISM off the face of the earth, just like we wanted to wipe out Nazism and Commuinism, as political systems, without EVER meaning we wanted to wipe the German and Russian PEOPLE out.
