...all these bail-outs and massive money-injection schemes point out what a screwy economy we have. The gold stays in Fort Knox...but the printing presses work overtime. To the question, "do you think we can just PRINT money?"...the answer is, "yes"...because that's all they're going to do.

Just as wars no longer involve in stealing treasure from enemies but from your own Tresury...money is no longer backed by anythign except faith and tenuous agreements. People go to work, not for gold or silver, but for paper..paper your landlord amd grocer and gas station agree to accept...so in reality as much money can be printed as needed...I know the wealthy warn that it can't be done, except when THEY need it....but it can work and work easily...and one day, if people want it, it will.

At least American workers are being treated to a sneak-peak at how the wealhty operate...with some workers just beginning to strike back....the rich are terribly afraid that, with the veil which has covered their tricks compromised, the workers will catch a glimpse of how the system really runs...how it's a scam but a scam that benefits only the wealthy....they're terribly afraid of "socialism"...though they expect social bail-ouys when THEY need them.

Interesting times.
