...In Sand's book, "The Invention of the Jewish People" he discusses the kingdom of Khazaria which flourished for about 400 years before the Russians and then the Mongols finally did it in...it was a Jewish kingdom, made up not of the children of Israel but of converts, Slavs and others there in southern Russia and the Crimea....I'd never heard of it before and according to Sands there's hardly an Israeli student who has either...because it was these Jewish refugees and not those from the "Exile" who settled in Poland, Lithuania and Russia, and this information is suppressed and ridiculed in Israel. The implications are huge because it undermines the Zionist narrative that Jews of Isarel are all from one ethnic biological tree and were all from Palestine, before being exiled to live "among the nations" as strangers till they could "return"> This has been the justification for sezing Palestine and Palestinian lands, that it all belongs to the "indigenous" Jews....naturally Sand has been called anti-Semitic and a "hater"...like Joseph. --------------------- |
