I will say this...your asking me to give you proof by Scholars but lets get real...how many SCHOLARS are taking courses in Assyrian History? Where does a degree in Assyrian History get you in life? Nowhere as the same for a degree in Persia.

...there are no degrees offered in modern assyrian history because there is no such thing. But there is such a thing as a degree in Modern Middle Eastern history and Princeton University, among others, offers a doctorate degree in it...and Dr. Joseph, and no other assyrian, got that degree and went on to a successful career teaching the subject at Franklin and Marshall College in Pennsylvania...he retired after thirty years of teaching as professor Emeritus AND was honored by students and faculty by having a new International Studies Building named after him...so yes there IS a field of study which covers the time and place where this modern assyrian nonsense appeared....just because you don't know something doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Its exactly the reason why you are only referring to John Joseph when you dispute this claim...

...because he's the ONLY one from our community to be so qualified...there are many others, but Dr Joseph made it his particular specialty to cover the Nestorians in this time and place...but in his book he cites many other experts who know the same field and the same information he gives....he is hardly alone except that he is the ONLY one from our community to actually have bothered to STUDY this topic as a scholar and real writer...he too got the same stories and f airy tales as you did from his grandmother and priests...the difference is he grew up and went to university to STUDY the actual history while you go to sleep each night sucking on your "ancestry".

His map of the Ottoman Empire specifically states with pictures of who lived in the Ottoman Empire and he is quite precise.

...and I told you all this proved is that there Muslim Assyrians in the Ottoman empire, if it proves anything...you know that second-class dhimmis, persecuted Christians and all that would never have made it on that map...so if there WERE any Assyrians in Ottoman lands theyw ere Muslims.

Let me just say this...if your correct then this John Speed is wrong. Explain to your fans on how I'm an idiot for using a map that points to geographics.
