I just watched the debate on youtube and it was better than I expected. Maybe it was better because Sharpton doesn't bore me like those pastors do, and the impression I got from listening to Sharpton is that he is at best someone who may believe there is someone or something that made all this happen. It wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't even believe the crap in religion but he must pretend because America is a fascist country where Christianity is jammed down your throat and you can't be successful in politics if you don't at least talk the big talk and fuck god all day and talk about "values" and all that garbage. I like how Sharpton mocked Hitchens for believing in Iraq and WMD myth and he called this more faithful than anyone who believes in religion, and praise be to Sharpton for that. Even someone like Sharpton can admit that he has no proof for the existence of god but that arrogant Hitchens can not admit that Iraq had no WMD's, Bush lied nor can he condemn America's policy and crimes against Iraq. He had the nerves to say that he knows Saddam had them in the past, used them and was interested in getting them again. What he didn't mention is the US and the west gave them to him in the 80s, he did most of the killings and bad things when he was on US payroll, and, no, there was no evidence that he wanted them again or that he was "concealing" them. This is just a foul loser who can't even support his beliefs. Who is following blind faith now? Bush says Iraq had WMD and Hitchens believed it. The Christian Sharpton and many Christians, in general, didn't even believe that. The only thing Hitchens does is openly criticize religion, debate religious people and say what he wants. I can do that too and I'm not afraid of that. I'm not afraid to be surrounded by warmongering and right-wing coworkers nor am I afraid to get hurt for speaking my mind in a fascist country where I am a minority. I don't see anything special about Hitchens nor Harris other than they do what many people wouldn't be interested in doing. He isn't wrong about religion and all the garbage that comes with it. This is a historical fact and not something Hitchens discovered and introduced. But he does got his Islamic history wrong and his political views can be flushed down the toilet along with the religions he is so against. Again, I have to take my hat off to Sharpton for bringing Iraq up and reminding Hitchens that Saddam was hiding in a hole with a pistol by his side. The cracker still defends the imperialist. I guess it's iraq and Muslims that have over 1000 bases around the world, and not America. I guess it's iraq that spends the most on weapons, wars, military and empire. America doesn't do that. --------------------- |
