...for Americans to admit that they brought all this down on their own heads? I think many already know it but keep it to themselves for fear of being called unpatriotic or some such nonsense.

A CNN headline states..."Being Muslim in the age of ISIS". Wrong again...ISIS is a direct result of America's most stupid and cynical war...the headline should read, "Being Muslim in the age of Bush".

It will only get worse....we will never win this war, never, because we are creating enemies as we go...there is no army to defeat...we have made war on a religion, as we Christians did against the Jews..and it didn't end till Germany was in ruins and most of the rest of Europe as well. The war against Judaism was effectively lost...and this war against Islam will be lost too...and ruin will come to the nation and nations who started it....in the end, Islam will triumph, as a religion, because we are the ones making it STRONGER.

Yes, Hitchens is right, Islam is as crazy as all the rest...but Islam is not the problem, it is not the reason we are being attacked and increasingly terrorized...we face what we face today because of what we DID and continue to do to people, people who just happen to be Muslim...the fact they are Muslim is our excuse,or pretext, our cover... it is not the cause or reason of what is being done to us...and more than that, what we are and will be doing to OURSELVES...

A religion, at least not Judaism or Islam,has nothing to do with what we are doing to our own country....what we did to Europe in the last round.

At its simplest, we are terrorizing ourselves...because there is a lot of money for some in doing so.....yes, that simple...and we'll eventually see it.

It won't make us any wiser, but we'll finally admit that this was all our own doing...people now admit Muhammad Ali was greatest for what he did when drafted into an unjust and illegal war, also based on lies....yet today Colin Kapernick is being vilified for essentially the same act. Takes a long time to educate people.
