...we're your meat. If, as I suspect, you were merely curious as to how or why assyrians at another site are atheists, then that's something else.

I don;t see why we have to define ourselves as if God-people were at the center and we are "non" them. It's like calling yourself a "non flat-earther", instead of "normally bright"...I mean why even acknowledge their silly position at all? Why dance around them?

I shouldn't have to even mention God, or define myself as non-God believing. I am not stupid...I am not bigoted...I am not superstitious and I don't get fooled by holy books or anything else of that sort....I don;t like calling myself an atheist because it has the root word "god" in it.

My non-belief in stupidity of the heavenly sort should not be called by a name that recognizes stupid-heavenly beliefs.

I prefer to call myself "sane"...not "atheist".
