What language do Assyrian kids learn and speak in school in America...in Sweden....in Calcutta? What is so odd about children being taught in one, dominant language? In your own state of California English has been declared the official language...are you trying to over turn that? Are you trying to get the State of california to teach just our kids in Assyrian? Get real. You people have no trouble becoming Amerikifried as soon as you can...and your children, in order to get anywhere, must learn the dominant language and culture...so if that`s the case and rule in America...why are you telling the Qurds that they CANNOT do the same in their country? You all can`t wait to blend in, here in America where there is no war...but you ant the assyrian children of Iraq to REFUSE to learn to get along...as you have learned here. You want to keep them barefoot and pregnant...why? Is it because that`s the only way you can keep them "assyrian"? If they stay poor, and out of the mainstream and don`t get educated because the Qurds won`t teach them in their own language...why don`t you demand that California schools do that? But you don`t...your children go to school, they learn to be Americans and then on weekends, if you want, you can fill their heads with all your assyrian crap...just like they can do in Iraq, excuse me, in Qurdistan. hehehehehehhe....remember when you said this war was a GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY? --------------------- |
