I think we can all agree that the religion itself is pretty silly, especially today. Of course the over one billion people who follow that religion don't see it that way, but does being silly make it the most dangerous religion as Bill Maher and the likes seem to suggest? Let's review quickly. Islam is not founded in the murder of Muhammad and Muslims don't need their god to be human or be murdered to atone for their crimes. Everyone is born pure and innocent without any guilt. There is only one god, there is prayer, fasting, giving charity(zakat) and making pilgrimage to Mecca if one can afford it and is able. There are no mysterious doctrines, crucifixions, eating flesh, lamb of god, original sin, etc. There isn't even a being saved concept in Islam. No Muslim will say he's saved and going straight to heaven nor do they have a duty to save the world as Christians do. So why is this religion so dangerous to Bill Maher?

All of the wars in Islamic history were to gain dominance which isn't unusual in history and people were invited to join the religion or remain with their religion and become citizens of the state(dhimmis). There is no evidence to suggest that Muslims forced the religion on the peoples wherever they went or that they killed people for refusing to convert, but that hasn't stopped people from holding such views no matter what. Christianity, on the other hand, is supposed to be the religion of love and peace. Bill Maher calls it silly but doesn't see it as dangerous. I believe it to be silly and dangerous, far more dangerous than Islam. Christianity in a nutshell is basically a father pushing his good son on the street to get hit by a car, and that's called love. How something like that can be love is puzzling to me but it doesn't just end there. The father pushing his son to be killed by car "had" to do that so he could forgive the crimes of others and only by accepting this can one get right and be forgiven. One could be as good as possible and still not be right because you don't accept that murder of the innocent son which is the only way to be forgiven. If you accept it, you're saved and no longer held responsible. To me this is just a cheap way out of taking responsibility and I view Christianity with a very arrogant tone even though Christians like to portray it otherwise. I personally have never liked religions where the gods are humans and this usually leads to people becoming slaves to other humans and also helps with racism. The whites in America see their god as white. The blacks felt left out so they want their god, who is the same person as the white god, to be their color, therefore, they have made him black. If this is not silly enough, it only gets more silly and violent.

How many wars have Christians brought in the name of their religion since they gained power? Too many. You have Constantine who forced the religion on his people. You have Armenia which had a king who forced it on his population. There is king Olaf who forced it on the vikings. There is the thirty year war, there is the potato famine war, Charlamagne, the conquest of the Americas, Australia, etc. The Romans remained just as violent after Christianity and became even less tolerant. Christians have killed more of their own in the name of their religion than anyone else has. Christians had to hide in churches and caves because of other Christians. The Nestorians, and Jacobites were persecuted Christians and were only safe after Muslims conquered the region. There is no comparison between Islamic history and Christianity. The two have not behaved the same and perhaps Bill Maher is not only ignorant of Islam but he's ignorant of history. Islam is only dangerous to him because he's ignorant of it just as white people were afraid of black people and still are. Racism comes from ignorance for the most part and so does hatred and bigotry. If Bill Maher refused to remain ignorant and wasn't so arrogant in his approach, he would perhaps change his views and would know which religion is more dangerous.

Radical Christians are far more dangerous than radical Muslims and the radical Muslims were contained and turned down by the rest of the Muslims. It was the grant cleric of Dagestan who had the radicals kicked out of his land and many popular clerics and Muslim scholars have tried to have the radicals banned from their lands and communities. I'm not ignorant of Christianity and I see it more dangerous than Islam and Christians have been far more violent. I'm not afraid of black men, I'm not afraid of Islam and I choose to know my enemy. I don't get my views and opinions about Islam from Christians or FOX news just as I wouldn't learn Judaism from prejudiced Christians/Nazis.

History speaks for itself as to who are the dangerous ones and if that's not Enough just turn on the tv and see what Christians are doing on the evening news. Everything from killing their wives and children or shooting up schools. American prisons are full of Christians and this is also the most radical Christian population. Even the trailer trash, the poorest of the poor with no education and who is pig ignorant is still a Christian and a fanatic at times and of course an American patriot.
