...that and an exaggerated sense of persecution is what these religious folk need to thrive...nothing is worse for them than being tolerated or showing tolerance...it saps them of vigor, of energy, of fervor.... They yearn to be spurned, suppressed, discriminated against and, in extreme cases, martyred. It's what gives them strength and makes their eyes glow...that's the reason Andre, Rosie, Aprim and the rest of them insist that they suffered a genocide, a Holocaust, that their lands were taken from them, that Muslims are persecuting them, because it gives them STRENGTH...it makes them POWERFUL.....they think.
