...is supposed somehow be good news for him, and racists everywhere...like it proves he was merely defending himself when he shot an unarmed teenager, who, we can see now, was posing a THREAT to Zimmerman... after all, "look at the blood"!!!....on Zimmerman's head, they mean...forget about Martin's blood spilled on the sidewalk...all blood is NOT equal, in racist America. Huh? Zimmerman has a bloody head, as his proof...Martin is DEAD, as proof that he was TRYING to defend himself from an armed man, which he failed to do. Had Martin been successful at pounding Zimmerman enough to keep him from shooting, Martin would have that "bloody head" of Zimmerman, plus his gun, as HIS proof...when coupled with what we know of Zimmerman's behavior, his "profiling" and chasing Martin disregarding what the police dispatcher told him to do i.e., back off and let the police handle it, who were on their way, hence where was the emergency that REQUIRED Zimmerman to confront Martin, OR cause Martin to turn around and confront HIM? Which any sane person would have done, if he couldn't ditch the guy...I mean why wait to be shot in the back at HIS discretion...why NOT take the fight, a fight Zimmerman started, to HIM? It sure looks odd, I mean telling us that a bloody head, courtesy of Martin, is "bad" for Martin, but good for Zimmerman, because it shows he WAS defending himself....not that Martin had every right to defend HIMSELF, as Zimmerman claims he was doing, when he shot and killed Martin. A bloodied head is equal to a teenager's dead heart? Martin had at least as much right, if not a whole lot more, to defend himself that night FROM Zimmerman as Zimmerman is claiming he had a right to protect himself from Martin. Martin was no danger to Zimmerman EXCEPT as a direct result of Zimmerman's own behavior. A teenager, walking through a neighborhood at night, is nowhere near a "threat" to a grown man, armed, and following HIM...as is that same armed man, following the TEENAGER! Zimmerman was the ONLY one threatening anyone that night...Martin was the only one truly DEFENDING himself that night. The two are NOT "fair and balanced" and "equal"...as the media is hoping to put over. Why isn't Zimmerman's bloody head a sign that Martin was DEFENDING himself, rather than evidence that Zimmerman was "defending" HIMSELF? As a last note: Fuck all Black neo-con commentators, sell-out Uncle Tom's who wish that racism would become, magically, a thing of the past and who struggle mightily to re-interpret and disguise all the evidence that racism is alive and well, in no small part thanks to their efforts to sell us the white man's line and cover over his crimes. Fuck you all for the pathetic display of white ass-kissing you take such pride in...truly, you are the Niggers the white man made for himself, still with us and still serving as his slaves, and loving it because at least you are HOUSE niggers. --------------------- |
