..I think the reason people insist that it's a choice, freely made to be Gay is that it gives them license to hate and despise Gay people for making such a "choice"...their feeling then is, "you CHOSE this"...so stop complaining at my being upset with you for making a choice contrary to God etc etc.

The odd thing is that these evangelical types believe in predestination..that is that God chose, from the beginning of time, who would be saved and who damned...now why should people who were made the way they are by God, be punished for HIS work?
