...the discussion was never about "my" truth or anybody elses except the truth of Jesus Christ, his church and their teaching.

...I said the church teaches, on authority from Jesus himself, what amounts to crimes such as cannibalism etc.

...at that point Minime didn't ask anybody to define truth...he asked for valid, authoritative evidence, not "your opinions" or some "stupid" dictionary.

...it was when I posted the words of Jesus, which clearly show that he told his followers to eat him, that Minime all of a sudden began hopping around demanding we talk about something else...how about truth....or universal truth....or anything BUT the fact that I proved my point.

...for regardless how much more he prefers his "creative" interpretation of the words of Jesus, it matters not at all where the original issue is concerned.

...we were talking about the TRUTH of Jesus, and Christianity...of the words of Jesus and Christianity...not my words or Minime's words...but the official Church teachings, at least of the millions and millions of Catholics and Eastern Orthodox....that's all. That's all.

...My definition of truth was never the issue...the definition of the truth of Jesus was...the truth of Christian teaching, at least as far as those Christians who believe in the Eucharist, was the issue.

...Minime demanded Biblical authority...and we gave it to him. Of course his own view of the Bible is different and does not conform with Catholic or Eastern Orthodox views...so what? The issue was over the people who BELIEVE Jesus meant "eat me"...and there are millions of those who use the words of Jesus to guide them.

...these others are the "enemy" as far as Minime is concerned....fine. But what does that have to do with anything?

...clearly millions and millions of Christians believe in these things and don't believe in the Bible according to Minime.
