Michael Chertoff first came to public attention as the first head of Homeland Security: that part of government dedicated to making us INSECURE...next we hear of him he is an executive with the company making the advanced Xray screening machines, which he made sure were to be a part of keeping us safe...now we find that the government tried to spin off screening duties to the private sector...but the TSA just put a stop to it...another instance of how neo-cons view government: as the means by which you create or spin off private industry...because these turkeys can't make money without somehow robbing the tax payer.

Their policies, not Al Qaeda, have made us insecure...and now they come offering to make us safe..like any Mafia Gang that sells protection...from what IT will do to you if you don't buy protection from them...the church works the same way; they BRING the disease and then show up on your doorstep offering "absolution"....great rackets all.
