...how does he think we got here? He wants those jobs back in America...well, why did they go overseas in the first place? Because the need for ever growing profit that capitalism forces onto owners....if they come back, they´ll just go again...or, it will be that same battle as before: you can´t pay your workers enough to enable them to buy enough goods to keep their companies in businmess and hence keep their jobs. A society hell-bent on private enterprise, on the need to make people buy and buy and buy, so there can be "jobs" is a dinosaur...a thing of the past. There will never be enough prosperity for enough people and the planet through jobs. There may be more prosperity for some more people...but the numbers are all trending downwoard when it comes to real buying power...and that can never change. For one the debt we have already eats up way too much of the money on hand. We need a revolution in thinking, not on the streets. --------------------- |
