...responding to an article by an actual person, one of Maggie's "esperts" has this to say.... Maggie It is so nice to read articles written by Scholars about the Assyrian History but it really gets up my nose when they state >>“with Ma’loula the last town where the language of Christ is still regularly spoken”. Language of Christ? Give me a break. Jesus Christ spoke the Aramaic Semitic Language (ASL- Root) because his Parents and those surrounding him lived in a milieu of Aramaic speaking people (namely Assyrians). It is quite obvious HE would speak his parent’s language (ARAMAIC-ASSYRIAN)). Because if he was born in Mekka then HE would have spoken Arabic. If born in Vatican, he would have spoken Roman and if born in VARANASI, he would have spoken in Hindu. So the language is not attributed to Christ because it is not his language (language of Christ)and HE should not be given the credit. The credit is to the Assyrians who became Christians (unfortunately) and taught Christ how to speak the proper language. The language of his Parents and Forefathers rather than the Yiddish. The credit is always attributed to this Jewish Magician and to hell with Assyrian Nationalism. ...."Yiddish"? Yiddish? The language back then was fucking YIDDISH? Yiddish is a combination of Hebrew and GERMAN...with some Polish thrown in. And these are our "historians"! --------------------- |
