Re: We should support ADM on this issue. Posted By: SOS Date: Tuesday, 20 November 2007, at 4:24 a.m. In Response To: Re: We should support ADM on this issue. (Ashur Giwargis) Dear Ashur, The issue here is Mullah Bakhtyar’s statement about the Assyrians. What has said is so seriously anti Assyrian national interest that we all should stand up and publically opposes and discredit it. All of us, all our political organizations, our academic groups, our historians, and our individuals should stand up and publically denounce this. We should let KDP, PUK, KRG, US government, US congress, European Union, world human rights organizations, major Christian organizations; world’s news media, all know that Mullah Bakhtyar is wrong. We must embarrass KDP, PUK KRG bad enough around the world to force them, at the best correct him and at the least not to let it happen again. ADM statement is the right thing to do and all other organizations should at least do the same. Whether ADM is sincere in what it is saying is a different issue for a different time and place. Thanks ...What the Kurd said is true and the only ones you've EVER embarrassed are yourselves. What you call Chaldo-Ashurs you have NEVER held land in Iraq...I mean as anything but private land you owned as individuals...at no tme in 2000 years have "assyrians" owned "assyrian lands"....therefor no one, least of all Kurds, "owes" you any "rights" as "assyrians". ..the only right the Kurds have to Kurdistan is the right of MIGHT...which the international community recognizes and respects...no one BUT you recognizes the right of whining. Go get something, if you can. Stop yelling at people simply because they are better at things than you are. Can you really not understand this or do you measure other people's intelligence by your own? You show us where, on any map of the last 200 years, any "assyrian lands" are mentioned...go ahead....SHOW US! --------------------- |
