Congratulations Tiglath...well written, well reasoned and well researched...and easy to follow...which is as crucial.

You do us all proud...and bring even more shame to those assyrian forums which have banned or deleted you. Good Lord, what a nayshun! Our most ardent nationalists and heroes condemn people like Dr. John Joseph and Tiglath while singing the praises of such mediocrities as Aprim, Jassim, Malek-Yonan and the rest. How the hell can you expect this nayshun to be anywhere else but on its knees when it glorifies these troglodytes while heaping scorn on our genuine scholars, writers and thinkers.

To their credit neither Joseph nor Tiglath place any faith or hope in erecting Ashur again...or getting a territory of our own...and for good reason, the same good reason and common sense that guides them in their profession. Both of them say that we already have a country, called Iraq, and if we would just act the part of loyal citizens there, as we do in Australia or Canada...or as Afro-Americans do in the United States which has persecuted them like none of us can even imagine...there would be peace and prosperity for our people in every corner of the globe.

The nationalists, who hide their religious ideology behind "politics" are the those dedicated to this loopy notion that someone is going to give them a nation AND that anyone else is going to want to live under THEIR rule. Right.
